Can't get enough shareware? windows95.com has a very complete collection of all the shareware you could ever need.
Or if you are getting tired of all those nag screens you might want to get some shareware from NoNags.
Check out http://www.tac.nyc.ny.us/~rudolph/useful/ for some very useful web sites such as yellow pages, travel, entertainment, newspapers, and more.
For some humor check out http://www.herbison.com/broken_eggs.html. It has many, many good reasons to keep all your eggs in one basket, such as: It's 45 degrees below zero without figuring in the windchill factor (fahrenheit or celsius - at this point it doesn't matter), it's a 200 yard dash to the house, and you can only hug one basket to your body and still manage to zip up your parka.
For articles from their magazines or some cool shareware (and freeware) check out PC Magazine and Windows Magazine's web sites.
The Top 5 List is a really funny collection of top 10 type lists.
Daily Calenders with humor, tips, or ways of avoiding work will be found at the Digiday Main Page.
Humor is the theme at the Centre For The Easily Amused.
Find the words spelled out by your phone number at http://www.phonetic.com.
Did you like my ASCII Artwork page? If you did I would recomend you check ou the most complete collection of ASCII artwork and e-mail signature lines I have seen. Visit ASCII Heaven at http://www.concentric.net/~neotek/text/.
Want to learn from example of what not to when creating a web page? I recomend http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com.
The ultimate resource for web page creation is http://www.htmlgoodies.com, complete with how to's on all aspects of html.
Color Fusion was an intersting program I found at http://infinitefish.com. It displays colorful patterns that change when you play sounds or music with your sound card.
The Keirsey Temperament Sorter is a personality test (from the book Please Understand Me).
My favorite search engines are: Alta Vista, because it always finds something. Yahoo has a cool address finder that will even print driving directions and everything is categorized. Lycos can search for sounds.
