Today’s model is a plane from set 4023 “Fun and Adventure“, released in 2003. Here are the official instructions from the lego booklet: A PDF copy of the set’s entire instruction booklet, including other models is also available directly from Lego. I printed out pages 2 and 3 in 2-up mode (2 pages per sheet), to make the photo and instructions like a booklet. Here’s how ours turned out with some very colorful substitutions from whatever legos we had on hand that were not already in use in other models: The landing-gear is probably the most specialized piece this set calls for, and one I know we don’t have, but just about any other small wheels make a good substitute. We actually decided to add a second set of wheels to make the plane sit level on the table. Kid-friendly building instructions with step-by-step parts list (PDF) made by me in LDraw: If you’d like to customize the model and instructions, you can also download my LDraw Diagram for this model.
