Jessica's Favorite Biscuits
Ingredients:

all-purpose flour |
3+ teaspoons |

baking powder |
1 teaspoon |
1 ½ teaspoons |
salt |
1/4 cup |
3/8 cup |
butter |
3/4 cup |
1 cup |
warm water |

Heat oven to 450°.

Pour flour, baking powder, and salt into a mixing
bowl. (or a food processor)

Cut in shortening thoroughly, until mixture
looks like meal.

Gradually pour in water. (to much makes dough
sticky, not enough makes dough flaky)

On a floured chopping board knead dough lightly
for about 1/2 minute.

Roll dough out so it is about 1+ centimeter high.

Cut biscuits with a cookie cutter.

Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet.

Cook 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown.
Small recipie makes ~12 thinner round 2" Biscuits
or ~8 thicker biscuits
Big recipie makes ~18 thinner round 2" Biscuits or ~12 thicker biscuits
