Mom's Thanksgiving Turkey
Recipe from Jessica's Recipe Corner
Ingredients:
- Roasting turkey
- Metal skewers, meat thermometer, roasting pan, tin foil
Marinade:
- 4 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 4 teaspoons salt (or to taste)
- 2 teaspoons paprika
Instructions:
- Follow directions on the turkey's packaging for preparation: remove gibblets, rinse bird, salt, add metal skewers
- Rub exterior of turkey with marinade made from ingredients above.
- Stuff turkey. Add water to roasting pan, tin-foil the turkey during the last hour
- Cook as directed by the turkey packaging until turkey reaches desired temperature
