Community Parks
Community parks are the largest, most visited type of parks–the type of park where you can always expect to find other kids at play. These parks have sports fields, bathrooms, and are a lot of fun.
1021 Harvard Way, EDH
The toddler play area at this park is completely fenced so it is great for younger toddlers, and both the toddler and big kid play areas have shade canopies. Promontory Community Park2700 Alexandra Drive, EDH
Features multiple play structures and a large spray-ground water feature. Two of the play structures have shade awnings over them to provide some shade. This playground has whimsical theme with giant bugs and butterflies and shade awnings shaped like flowers. One play structure has rubber turf underneath, the others have wood chips. Village Parks
These parks are “medium” sized parks, bigger than a neighborhood park, but smaller than a community park. They often have bathrooms and off-street parking,

Gillette Dr & Powers Dr, El Dorado Hills

Lake Forest Park 1821 Francisco Dr, El Dorado Hills

3331 Alyssum Circle, EDH
Located in the heart of Bass Lake Village, Oak Knoll park features a clubhouse, children’s play structure as well as a natural area that is covered by native oak trees. Valley View Park 
1661 Blackstone Pkwy, EDH
This park near Valley View Elementary School is in the southernmost part of El Dorado Hills. It is a sports park featuring fields for baseball, softball and soccer, in addition to the two play structures with partial shade canopies. Bathrooms available.
4571 Serrano Pkwy, EDH

Bill McCabe Park/St. Andrews Park

Brackenwood Place, EDH

Overlook Park3265 Kensington Dr, EDH
A large lawn area is next to the play structure, but there are no restroom facilities at this neighborhood park. Take Green Valley Road to El Dorado Hills Blvd. North (South is towards Hwy 50). If El Dorado Hills Blvd. turns into Lake Hills Blvd, you’ve gone too far. Turn left onto Village Center and then right onto on Kensington Drive opposite Sebastian Court. (Photo by Vomund Photography)
